CE-Credit.com’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Marriage and Family Therapists, as set forth by the New Jersey State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy.
A marriage and family therapist applying for licensure renewal shall have completed a minimum of 40 contact hours of continuing education directly related to the profession of marriage and family therapy during the biennial renewal period. At least 20 of the 40 contact hours of continuing education shall be obtained by a licensee through face-to-face instruction (13:34-9.2).
At least 5 of the 40 contact hours must be on ethical and legal standards in the counseling, 3 must be in cultural competence and 1 must be concerning prescription opioid drugs.
CE Learning Systems has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5951. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CE Learning Systems is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
