It explains: epidemiology of emerging designer drugs, slang terms, pharmacology, adverse psychiatric effects, adverse physiologic effects, and clinical effects of each drug.

Dr. Michael Weaver, DFASAM, is a professor and medical director at the Center for Neurobehavioral Research on Addictions for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Dr. Weaver primarily sees adolescents, adults and seniors with any substance use disorder or concerns about misuse of controlled substance prescription medications and does research on addiction.
