Shoshana S. Bennett, Ph.D., founded Postpartum Assistance for Mothers in 1987 and is a past president of Postpartum Support International. She is the author of several books regarding postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, as well as the creator of the first PPD app. "Dr. Shosh" is a nationally recognized expert on this topic.
Pec Indman, PA, Ed.D., MFT, PMH-C
Pec Indman, PA, Ed.D., MFT, PMH-C, is a past chair of education and training for Postpartum Support International and continues to develop curriculum and provide trainings through this organization. She is nationally certified in Perinatal Mental Health.
Elizabeth Mosco, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in Reno, NV. She opened a private practice
after 10 years of conducting home-based assessment and therapy with the VA Sierra Nevada
Health Care System. Dr. Mosco’s clinical interests include maternal mental health, older adults,
and third wave cognitive behavioral therapies.

Discuss the risks and benefits of medication for treating postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, including the implications for breastfeeding.
