About the Course

This course examines the associations among genetic risk, body mass index, and weight control behaviors. The course will introduce you to the basics of genetics including the use genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and polygenic scores. You will apply your understanding of the polygenic score to the topics of body mass index, weight control behaviors, and eating disorders.
