About the Course:
Marijuana is the most widely used illicit substance in those diagnosed with bipolar I disorder. However, there is conflicting evidence as to whether marijuana may alleviate or exacerbate mood symptomatology. This course is based on the article, Joint Effects: A Pilot Investigation of the Impact of Bipolar Disorder and Marijuana Use on Cognitive Function and Mood created by Kelly A. Sagar, et al in 2016 and teh article The Relationship between Bipolar Disorder and Cannabis Use in Daily Life: An Experience Sampling Study created by Elizabeth Tyler, et al. in 2015.
