About the Course

Raising awareness, gaining local market visibility or establishing new partnerships can seem like a daunting task that yields no real return on investment. It’s a known fact that many challenges small nonprofit organizations repeatedly face when it comes to achieving their marketing goals includes lack of funding, limited staffing and support resources, along with direct access to the right expertise to drive plan development and execution.

This webinar will explain how you can be a part of a unified movement to increase awareness about the needs of grieving children and raise the public profile of grief and bereavement centers across the country. You can gain your community’s trust and attention when addressing such a sensitive subject. This presentation will take a deep dive into ways to identify the right grassroots marketing tactics that will help you build a customizable marketing plan to support your organizational goals.

Grassroots marketing is community focused and is all about building strategic relationships with key constituents. It starts from the ground up and is targeted towards specific groups or prospects in an effort to build your brand, communicate your message and establish co-op partnerships. It is the most versatile and inexpensive approach to marketing because you can implement a strategy that is unique to the mission and vision of your organization. It’s the most effective way to help you build a foot print in your community and initiate the conversation about childhood bereavement.

This course is based on the recorded webinar, Grassroots Marketing: The Power of Community Involvement created by A’Lisha Williams
