This course is an investigation into the alcohol-consumption practices and related morbidity of the Alaskan Native and American Indian populations. It provides a look at etiology and risk factors. Further, this course explores the disproportionate occurrence of alcohol abuse, Type-2 Diabetes, and suicide among the Alaskan Native population and American Indians. Lastly, this course is an actual epidemiological study that yielded important considerations toward the health and welfare of the Alaskan Native and American Indian populations.
