This course describes the problem of sexual boundary violations by mental health providers. The author examines the power imbalance and erotic transference and countertransference that are part of sexual boundary violations. Dr. Celenza is an assistant clinical professor at Harvard Medical School and a member of the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis. She is author of numerous articles on sexual boundary violations and clinical practice. Dr. Celenza is in private practice in Lexington, Massachusetts.
