About the Course

This course provides the framework for training early childhood services providers in the promotion of mental health and prevention of mental and behavioral disorders in young children. The materials presented provide the mental health consultant with the training tools needed to inform and guide program planning within the context of early childhood services. The ultimate objectives of the course are to broaden the discussion on mental health consultation and to help integrate mental health consultation into early childhood services.
