Rehabilitation counselors are committed to facilitating the personal, social, and economic independence of individuals with disabilities. The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) sets the standard for quality rehabilitation counseling services in the U.S. and Canada. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, CRCC has certified more than 35,000 counselors since its incorporation in 1974. The commission offers certification for professionals in the U.S. and Canada. The CRC Certification process is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
