About the Course

This course is based on two articles: 1) Self Destructive Behaviors in American Indian and Alaska Native High School Youth and 2) A Measure of Traditionalism for American Indian Children and Families. The first article describes patterns of involvement in risky behavior amongst American Indian and Alaska Native, White, and Black youth. The second article identifies the challenges and potential benefits of measuring traditionalism amongst American Indians.
