About the Course:

This course presents a relatively brief review of research on violence prevention, intervention, and crisis response in the schools. It advises professionals, families, students, and staff on what to look for and what to do to help protect ourselves and each other in working to make our schools safer and our children comfortable in the knowledge that they are safe at school.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, Early Warning, Timely Response – A Guide to Safe Schools created by Dwyer, K., Osher, D., and Warger, C.
