A licensed professional art therapist shall complete 40 contact hours of continuing education for license renewal with 5 of those credits in ethics and 3 of those credits in social and cultural competence
If the licensed art therapist earns more than 40 contact hours during a biennial period, the professional art therapist may carry a maximum of 10 contact hours into the next succeeding biennial period. Ethics and social and cultural competence credits cannot be carried over.
