This course covers a number of trending practice topics in the field of social work. The topics covered are how to appropriately utilize prayer with clients such that clients benefit, no harm is done, and ethical standards are upheld. Also the use of creative arts as a means of expressing latent feelings is covered in this course. The article examines the impact upon expression from these creative arts. Finally, the social worker participating in this course will examine the role social worker maintain in preserving patient engagement and rapport in a managed care setting.

Participants will gain knowledge of how behavioral health needs of patients are shifting toward primary care physicians and how this is impacting social work practice.
