Y4T is an 8-week online training session that connects trauma theory with yoga philosophy and practice. Participants learn to identify healthy power dynamic, recognize the many potential manifestations of trauma, and practice somatic resourcing techniques. The training program explores the implication of trauma in private practice, and in community mental health settings, and identifies methods to cultivate safety in individual and group settings. In addition, participants complete a research review and practicum experience, and are encouraged to share evidenced-based practices with collaborators.
This course is based on the recorded webinar, Yoga for Trauma (Y4T) Training Program created by Lisa Danylchuk, LMFT, E-RYT in 2020.
