1) Role-play and discuss ways to strengthen ethics among new clinicians.
2) Instructor provides an ethical scenario. Participants divide in groups and apply decision making model. Come to together share and compare results and insights.
3) Each participant brings one example of ethical dilemma fitting one of the ethical categories. Try to find a personal experience of your own or someone you know and tell the story and lessons learned.
4) Participants share their gathered resources for clinical supervision.

Keith Gibson Ph.D.
Dr. Gibson is founder and CEO of CE Learning Systems LLC. He's worked in a variety of behavioral health setting over 30 of clinical practice. He has a special interest in learning tools and applications that help behavioral practitioners develop knowledge and skills, which helps clients.
Sandi Cardaman, LMHC
Sandi Cardaman received her Master's in Counselor Education in 1998 from Florida Atlantic University. She has worked has a LMHC for more than 15 years and is also a Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida.
This course is recommended for health care professionals, especially addiction counselors, psychologists, mental health counselors, and clinical social workers who seek to acquire learning strategies for professional development of ethical pracitice in clinical supervision. It is appropriate for intermediate and advance levels of participants’ professional experience.
Course Objectives:
After taking this course, you should be able to:
Develop a personal approach for helping to strengthen supervisees' ethics.
Identify one strategy to share with supervisees that can help them think through ethical dilemmas.
Expand awareness of ethical dilemmas through reflection of past experiences and sharing experiences with others about lessons learned.
