About the Course:

Fibromyalgia can be a debilitating chronic pain syndrome characterized by pain centralization, amplification, and hypersensitivity. Despite its increasing frequency in the general population, it remains a controversial condition and many sufferers spend frustrating years struggling to to receive a diagnosis and proper treatment for this condition that typically lacks objective confirmation of its presence and is commonly a diagnosis of exclusion. This article provides a useful guide for any clinician working in a primary care setting, and provides an overview of the condition and its treatment.
