In this inspiring and informational keynote, M.J. Ryan and Adrienne Ressler explore why the practice of gratitude is one of the most powerful actions we and our patients can take in our daily lives. Inspirational author and international coach M.J. Ryan is one of the creators of the New York Times bestselling Random Acts of Kindness series and the author of The Happiness Makeover (finalist in the 2005 Books for Better Living award), This Year I Will…Attitudes of Gratitude, The Power of Patience, Trusting Yourself, The Giving Heart, and 365 Health and Happiness Boosters, among other titles. Altogether, there are 1.75 million copies of her ti.tles in print Dubbed "an expert in human fulfillment," she specializes in coaching high performance executives, entrepreneurs, and leadership teams around the world. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation.
Adrienne Ressler, LMSW, CEDS
Adrienne Ressler is the National Training Director for The Renfrew Center Foundation and current president of the iaedp Board of Directors. Adrienne attended the University of Michigan and served on the faculty in the School of Education. Her work is published in The International Journal of Fertility and Women's Medicine, Social Work Today, and Pulse (International Spa Association.) She contributed the chapter "Reframing Body Image Identity" in Healing Through Relationship and BodyMind Treatment: Connecting to Imprinted Emotions and Experiences in Effective Clinical Practice: The Heart of the Matter." She is the Body-Image Curriculum Designer for the Peeke Week Wellness Retreats.
