This course describes how the Child Development and Behavior Branch (CDBB) goes about identifying and addressing gaps in the areas of science managed within each program it oversees. It provides an overview of major initiatives accomplished or under way. Areas of research addressed include complex cognitive, linguistic, social, perceptual, biological, genetic, environmental, and educational variables relevant to human maturation across the life span.
