About the Course:

This article notes the importance of measuring successful functioning in American Indian (AI) adolescents, describes some methods of measuring successful functioning, and shares the results of a preliminary study of successful functioning in urban—and reservation—based AI youth. The authors make note of factors that contribute to or detract from successful functioning, and discuss areas for further research.
