APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct: 2010 Amendments

About the Course:

On August 21, 2002 the APA Council of Representatives adopted a new Ethics Code. The new Code becomes effective on June 1, 2003. This course provides an opportunity to reacquaint yourself with the Code and get updated on changes.

Course text includes two documents: Article 1, “What you need to know about the new code” from the January 2003 issue of Monitor on Psychology  and Article 2, “Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct (2010)”.

****Note:* For those interested, “Comparison of APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct (1992 and 2002)”, is also available. This is not required reading for this course, but may be a helpful general reference document.
