Applies To:
- Arizona Psychologists
CE-Credit.com’s distant learning courses meet qualifications for continuing education credit as required by the Arizona Board of Psychology Examiners.
A licensee shall complete at least 40 hours of continuing education during each license period (r4-26-207).
A licensee shall ensure that the continuing education hours obtained include at least four hours in each of the following:
(4) Professional ethics; and
(4) Domestic violence, intimate partner abuse, child abuse, or abuse of vulnerable adults.
The topic of bullying satisfies the requirement for child abuse.
During the license period in which an individual is initially licensed, the Board shall pro-rate the number of continuing education hours. The licensee will receive a letter detailing the pro-rated amount of continuing education that is required.
All 40 CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses since they are considered category I courses (they are not considered self-study). This was again confirmed by a phone call to the Arizona Board.
CE-Credit.com, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiner
