The Board is responsible for the administration, regulation and enforcement of the practice of occupational therapy in Nevada. The Board licenses qualified occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants and regulates the professional practice of occupational therapy throughout the State.
Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants shall complete at least 12 hours of continuing education per year. If the licensee obtains more than 12 hours of continuing education in a year, they may request that the Board carry over a maximum of 10 hours to apply towards completion of their requirement for continuing education for the following year.
A licensee must achieve a passing score on the Nevada Occupational Therapy Jurisprudence Examination at least once every 5 years: https://www.nvot.org/lic/jpexam.asp
