The Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL) provides consumer protection and public safety through its regulation of more than 204,000 licensees within more than 48 Boards and Commissions in the State of Idaho.
Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants must complete and maintain proof of completion of 10 hours of continuing education each year during the licensee’s renewal cycle.
Continuing education hours must be obtained in areas of study relevant to the practice of physical therapy. Continuing education courses/seminars do not require pre-approval by the Board.
