About the Authors:

Kenneth Pope rreceived graduate degrees from Harvard and Yale and is in independent practice as a licensed psychologist. He has chaired the Ethics Committees of the American Psychological Association and the American Board of Professional Psychology.

Melba Vasquez received her Ph.D. degree in counselling psychology from the University of Texas, and is a psychologist in independent practice in Austin, Texas. She serves on the APA Board of Social and Ethical Responsibility.
