Dr. Bloom received his PhD degree in 1952 and MS Hyg. (Public Health) 1962. He is currently retired from the Psychology Dept. at the University of Colorado

Course Objectives:

  1. To be able to become familiar with the history and variety of approaches to planned short-term psychotherapy

  2. To be able to learn about efforts to conduct outcome evaluations in the field of pstp and the results of these evaluation studies

  3. Understand the field of mental-health related managed care and the place of pstp in that field

  4. Understand the most important general principles that govern the behavior of planned short-term psychotherapists.
