Adolescents have a lot to say about eating and body image. This workshop offers practical tools for use in group and individual therapy settings for engaging adolescents to talk openly about eating disorder struggles. Topics including intuitive eating, food portioning, fast food and the ideal meal will be presented by a registered dietitian. This workshop is useful for nutrition professionals as well as other team members working with adolescents.

About the Author:

Juliet Zuercher is a member of the Remuda Ranch Speakers Bureau. Ms. Zuercher functions as a registered dietitian in the Professional Relations division of Remuda Ranch. She consults with various professionals across the country on nutritional rehabilitation in the treatment of eating disorders. Prior to this position, Juliet served as the Nutrition Services Director for Remuda Ranch. She has experience in treating children, adolescents, adults and family members suffering with eating disorders. Ms. Zuercher has over eleven years of experience in the treatment of women with eating disorders. She has presented extensively across the US and written articles for popular magazines and professional publications.
