101236: The Effects of Marriage on Health

About the Course:

This course is based on a newly issued report that summarizes recent research regarding the effects of marriage on health. This synthesis finds that marriage has positive effects on certain health-related outcomes, such as depression and heavy drinking. For many other health outcomes, the effects of marriage remain largely unaddressed by rigorous research.
