About the Authors:

Dr. Koenig is the assistant chief for behavioral science in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Mother-Child Transmission and Pediatric/Adolescent Studies Section, Division of HIV/AIDS prevention.

Dr. Doll is associate director for science of the National Center for Injury Prevention at the CDC.

Dr. O’Leary is a senior behavioral scientist at the CDC Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention, Research Branch.

Dr. Pequegnat is the associate director at the Center for Mental Health Research on AIDS at the National Institute of Mental Health.
